PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The physical education program is structured to meet the needs and interests of
all students. It is our desire that students have a positive and enjoyable physical
education experience.
Dress – PE Clothing – Participation
Students are expected to dress and participate everyday. Uniforms may be
purchased in the office. During inclement weather sweatshirts and sweatpants
may be worn.
PE Excuses
Parent excuses are only valid for three days. Students with health conditions
lasting longer than three days may be excused only upon the recommendation of
a physician. The physician’s written instructions are to be given directly to the
office and the student’s physical education instructor. Students unable to
participate in the regular PE classes will be assigned a modified PE program by
the PE teacher to accommodate the illness or injury described in the parent’
s/guardian’s or physician’s note.
